Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we hear most from business owners, answered plainly.
#Is my old website safe?
Yes. We rebuild your site on our platform, but your original stays exactly where it is until you approve the new one and tell us to go live. Nothing happens to your current site without your say-so.
#Will my web address change?
No. Your domain (your .com) stays yours and stays the same. We move what’s on the site to a faster platform; the address your customers type doesn’t change.
#Do I need to know HTML or any code?
Not at all. You make changes by typing what you want in plain English — “change Tuesday’s hours to 11 to 9,” “add a photo of the new patio.” The AI does the technical part. If you can text a coworker, you can update your site.
#What if the AI makes a mistake?
Two safety nets. First, you can preview a change before it goes live and approve it (or reject it). Second, every change is backed up automatically, so if something doesn’t look right after it’s live, one click rolls it back. You’re always reviewing the final result — we say so plainly in our Terms: review changes before publishing.
#Can I still hire a designer or developer?
Yes. It’s your site and your content. If you want a designer to rework a section, you can — and then you keep maintaining the result by chat with us. We’re not a walled garden.
#How long does the rebuild take?
Most rebuilds take 5–7 days from when you send us your current site’s address. The Professional refresh adds visual polish and multilingual SEO and takes 7–14 days; larger custom rebuilds take 3–6 weeks. We send you a preview link when it’s ready, and you approve before anything goes live.
#How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?
Wix and Squarespace hand you an editor and ask you to rebuild and maintain the site yourself. We do the rebuild for you, then you maintain it by simply telling the AI what to change. No editor to learn.
#Can my visitors get answers when I’m busy?
On Professional and Premium plans, yes — a chat bubble on your site answers your customers’ common questions (hours, menu, parking, prices) using what’s already on your pages, even while you’re with a customer or closed for the night.
#What happens if I run low on my monthly edits?
You’ll see a gentle heads-up as you approach your plan’s allowance. Nothing breaks — you can upgrade for more, or wait for the count to reset at the start of the next month. Most businesses never come close.
#Can I cancel?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel anytime, and there’s a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first charge. See Managing Your Subscription for the details.
