A small company building a simpler way for small businesses to keep their websites current.
Most small businesses do not need a new website. They need the website they already have to stop being a chore. TaiChu Web AI is a small product, built for owners who would rather spend their week running their business than chasing a developer to change a phone number. This page is the short version of who we are and what we are trying to do.
Why we built this
I have watched too many small business owners pay developers $500 to change a phone number. A new menu item, a holiday closure, a typo on the homepage — the work takes ten minutes, but the round trip with a freelancer takes a week and a small invoice. Most owners just stop bothering, and their website slowly drifts further from the truth.
That gap is the problem TaiChu Web AI exists to close. Not a new website builder. Not another template marketplace. The site you already have, kept current, by sending a message.
I started building this because the tools that were already on the market either rebuilt your whole site against your will, or treated AI as a marketing label slapped onto the same old editor. Neither helped the restaurant owner who just needs the lunch menu updated before Friday.
So we are trying something narrower and more useful: a chat box, your site, and a preview you can approve before anything goes live.
Who is building this
TaiChu Web AI is built by Michael Wu under The First IT LLC, a small company registered in Illinois. We started in 2026.
The team is small on purpose. Today that is me plus contractors when a job needs a specialist, and AI tooling doing the work that used to require a larger payroll. If we grow, we will say so on this page. We would rather understate the team than inflate it with stock photos and fake titles.

How we work
A few things we hold to, written down so you can hold us to them.
Nothing publishes without your approval. Every change is shown to you as a preview first. You decide what goes live. The AI does not push edits to your site on its own.
Your site stays yours. You can cancel any time and keep the website you have. We are not in the business of locking customers in by holding their pages hostage.
We are not trying to be everything. TaiChu Web AI is not a website builder, not a hosting company, not a design studio. It is one tool that does one job — keeping the site you already have up to date — and we would rather do that one job well than bolt on features we cannot stand behind.
